"There will be Ketchup" teaser

So I've spent a week plugging away at this weird little thing called "There will be Ketchup." COuld be a short film, could be a glorified trailer for a movie that doesn't exist. All I know is it is extremely time consuming to animate...

One cool note about it: the whole thing is completely made out of google images. All of it is found objects and images from the internet that are layered in photoshop and animated in Adobe After Effects. It's a process that really puts animation in the hands of people who never dreamed they would be able to do it... gotta love technology...

enjoy

SO, here's a little taste of a project I'm currently plugging away at. (instead of doing all the real work I could be doing)

Who knows if it will ever see any light of day...

It's a hardcore after effects animation about a Cloned Adolf Hitler taking over the world with a fast food war machine...

I know, I've lost it completely... but its fun as hell to create!!

Hitler shooting green Lasers at a dancing Cheeseburger...

FOX NEWS ALERT - A crazy cloned Hitler with fairy wings and a halo is planning to attack the United States!!! ( seems like i've actually seen this headline on Fox News before )

boredom in mississippi

Laser cat hurricane Gustav boredom...

mississippi moonshine and the" inerneb"

So... after a day of pure Hell, stuck on I-59 in Mississippi. We are now stuck in Laurel Mississippi at the lovely Holiday Inn express. We have taken turns staying in the hotel room to make sure the cats are quiet. I had to sign a paper when I checked in last night that I wouldn't bring in animals. We have two cats... one of them is very talkative. So far they have been nice and quiet...

SO we spent the day today seeking out info on the internet, and drinking Mississippi Moonshine. Which has made the day go a little easier. And obviously I'm bringing a bottle home for the "Fuck Gustav" party that I'm sure will take place this weekend...

Until then... we sit and watch Fox news, America's next top model, dirty jobs.... and plenty of youtube videos involving funny cats...

hopefully we come home tomorrow...

Contra Flow is HELL

Obviously, it's tough to complain about evacuating what appears to be a category 4 or 5 hurricane. No matter how miserable it may be, it's still better than the possiblity of drowning in your own living room. But the contraflow along I-59 in Mississippi was almost unbareable. If I would have actually videotaped more along the way, the video posted below would include some of the really terrible things we saw along that strech of interstate. Hundreds of cars broken down or out of gas.

I just hope all of those people got help and got to safety. Because by the time we broke loose from the traffic, the outer bands of Hurricane Gustav started pouring rain down on the interstate, making the second half of our drive about as dangerous as the first half was annoying.

But lucky us... the hotel didn't loose our reservation. And we got off the road for the night...

more soon...
